Ike Designs Jewelry

Ike Designs Jewelry by Dori Eisenhauer was founded in Seattle, WA in 2001, relocated to Brooklyn, NY in 2003, and now makes a home in Oakland, CA.  Having spent 13 years in NYC freelancing for other designers and teaching, Ike is designing again with a new collection launch for Spring, 2016.

Artist's Statement

My aesthetic is always inspired by the natural world - the blessings of the earth's gems, the colors of a garden, the seemingly random branches of a tree which somehow create symmetry, the glistening shard of an icicle, the mystery of the ocean, the wonder of human nature, and much more.  Following this inspiration, each piece of jewelry is handmade by me, believing that the gemstone and metal inspire and dictate the piece.  Seeking beauty in all places, I look to translate what seems to be chaos into a little bit of enticing, enchanting and tiny sparkling movement, known as Ike Designs Jewelry.
